Houston Texans

  • 2014 Finish: 9-7, 2nd in AFC South
  • Top Positional Need: Wide Receiver

J.J. Watt, Jadeveon Clowney and now the monster known as Vince Wilfork.

That is the defensive line opposing offenses will have the pleasure of facing when the Houston Texans are on the ledger.

Texans Wide Receivers:

  1. DeAndre Hopkins
  2. Cecil Shorts
  3. Damaris Johnson
  4. DeVier Posey
  5. Keyshawn Martin

Allowing longtime Texan Andre Johnson walk was just about as right as anything you’ll see this offseason.

It was just time.

Knowing Bill O’Brien and how he runs an offense, rounding out the offense with another receiver to fit his “11” grouping will be essential. He obviously loves the double tight end, but Houston is in dire need of another guy to play opposite DeAndre Hopkins (76 receptions, 1,210 yards and 6 touchdowns).

Rarely does a fullback see the field for O’Brien.

Cecil Shorts simply cannot be relied upon. He’s never played a full season due to health during his four-year NFL career.
