Kansas City Chiefs

  • 2014 Finish: 9-7, 2nd in AFC West
  • Top Positional Need: Offensive Line

Much like the Chargers, the Kansas City Chiefs will also be in the offensive line market come draft day.

Jamaal Charles ran wild in 2012 to the tune of 1,509 yards. Last year his number slid to 1,033.

Chiefs Offensive Line:

  • Eric Fisher (LT)
  • Ben Grubbs (LG)
  • Eric Kush (C)
  • Jeff Allen (RG)
  • Donald Stephenson (RT)

The most disappointing factor for Andy Reid and John Dorsey has to be Eric Fisher.

Very rarely does the first overall pick in the draft struggle if he plays on the offensive line. But that’s exactly what Fisher has done during his first one and a half seasons. He has constant trouble with the edge rush and is oftentimes overpowered.

However, towards the middle of 2014, something clicked for Fisher and he finished strong on the right side of the line.

In 2015 he’ll be looked upon to protect the blindside for Alex Smith on the left side while Dorsey plugs in the rest around him.

With Smith forever playing the role of quintessential game manager, Reid needs the strength of his offense to live upfront.
