New York Giants

  • 2014 Finish: 6-10, 4th in NFC East
  • Top Positional Need: Offensive Line

If there’s one slogan fans of the New York Giants have leaned on the past several years it’s this: “In Reese We Trust.”

After yet another disappointing season from Big Blue, the slogan is back in full force. How could they not have faith after two Super Bowl championships in the bag?

Giants Offensive Line:

  • Will Beatty (LT)
  • John Jerry (LG)
  • Weston Richburg (C)
  • Geoff Schwartz (RG)
  • Justin Pugh (RT)

It’s difficult to go against the general consensus and claim the Giants number one need is offensive line.

Most believe it’s safety. Antrel Rolle was just lost to Chicago and New York currently only employs two true safeties on the entire roster (Cooper Taylor, Nat Berhe). Linebacker is also a major weakness.

Due to the fact the position of linebacker is severely undervalued in a 4-3 scheme, and considering how explosive this team could be on offense, bringing in the reinforcements in front of Eli Manning and newly acquired Shane Vereen will be important.

Victor Cruz, Odell Beckham Jr and Larry Donnell present an opportunity to this squad to have a pretty special offense in 2015. Only if the O-Line does their part first. The Giants will look forward to Justin Pugh regaining his rookie form.
