NFL: Top positional need for all 32 teams
By Robby Sabo
St. Louis Rams
- 2014 Finish: 6-10, 4th in NFC West
- Top Positional Need: Offensive Line
The most recent riddle in St. Louis Rams land deals with whether Nick Foles is now the long-term answer for the organization.
Either way, Jeff Fisher knows where this team needs to bulk up.
Rams Offensive Lineman:
- Greg Robinson (LT)
- Rodger Saffold (LG)
- Tim Barnes (C)
- Barrett Jones (RG)
- Brandon Washington (RT)
Only Greg Robinson represents anything of substance in front of Foles at the moment.
Some think if Marcus Mariota drops to the Rams at the No. 10 spot then Les Snead will pounce. Others feel that La’el Collins is in their future. Some think they’ll go receiver if Kevin White or Amari Cooper slide.
Under any first-round circumstances, Fisher and Snead will be sure to draft at least two offensive lineman before all three draft days are through. Finishing 20th in rushing last year and yielding the eighth most sacks with 47 is just the tip of the iceberg for how poor the unit currently is.
The secondary could also use a little bolstering. Other then Janoris Jenkins, there’s very little talent on the backend.
