FanDuel Daily Picks-Lineup #2

PGJordan Clarkson-Los Angeles Lakers. Clarkson shredded the Sixers on Monday with 52.7 FanDuel points on 26 points, 11 assists, six boards, and three steals.  He has at least 30 FanDuel points in four of his last five games and has been coming on strong as the season winds down.  Jeremy Lin should return tonight, but Clarkson has produced solid points from the 2-guard spot as well. He’s a nice value at 7,300 tonight against the Pelicans backcourt which hasn’t been great defensively since losing Jrue Holiday.

PGReggie Jackson-Detroit Pistons. Jackson has been great since Greg Monroe went down with injury and totaled a double-double last night in just 22 minutes finishing with 31 FanDuel points on 12 points, four rebounds, and 11 assists.  Jackson has at least 30 FanDuel points in eight straight games and had 45+ in his last three before last night’s limited minutes.

SGDeMar DeRozan-Toronto Raptors. DeRozan exploded Monday for 42 points against the Rockets while adding 11 boards.  He should again carry the offensive load tonight against the T-Wolves since Kyle Lowry is out indefinitely.

SGMarkel Brown-Brooklyn Nets.  (same as lineup #1)Brown has returned to the Nets lineup, played big minutes, and been productive over his last few games. Last night he played 31 minutes finishing with 10 points, five boards, an assist, and a steal on his way to 19.5 FanDuel points.  He had an even better game on Sunday finishing with 17 points, four rebounds, and four assists against the Lakers.  Tonight against the Knicks injury-depleted lineup, Brown is an ultra-cheap (3,500) solution with plenty of upside.

SFGerald Henderson-Charlotte Hornets. With MKG still sidelined, Henderson should get plenty of playing time tonight and will look to bounce back from a rough game Monday.  Before that 18.6-FanDuel-point performance, Henderson had 20 or more in seven straight including three straight with at least 29 FanDuel points.  I think he’s lined up for a bounce back tonight against the Pistons and is affordable at his 5,600 price tag.

SFQuincy Pondexter-New Orleans Pelicans. Quietly, Pondexter has emerged as a value option reeling off five straight games in double-figure scoring while averaging 12.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 0.8 assists. He has at least 20 FanDuel points in five of his last nine games and is a sneaky value play in the late game against LA tonight at just 4,300.

PFPau Gasol-Chicago Bulls. Gasol and the Bulls take on the Bucks tonight in a matchup Gasol has owned this season. In their first meeting this season, he posted 22 points and 14 rebounds. He followed that up with a monster 46-point, 18-rebound game in January and added another double-double with 15 points and ten boards the last time the two met. Gasol is coming off a double-double Monday against Charlotte as well and has three double-doubles in his last four games. He’s a safe pick tonight with plenty of upside.

PF: Terrence Jones-Houston Rockets. With Dwight Howard questionable for tonight and limited when he plays,  the Rockets are hoping to get Jones back in a good matchup tonight against the Kings.  Jones has been upgraded to questionable for tonight, and if he plays he represents a solid value at the position after proving he can be a nightly double-double threat and get some blocks as well before having to missed time with is collapsed lung. IF HE PLAYS, Jones is worth a look.

CEnes Kanter-Oklahoma City Thunder. Kanter has been a double-double machine although he fell one rebound short against Phoenix on Sunday.  He did get 19 points and 13 rebounds against Dallas when he faced them two weeks ago, and will look to put up good numbers against them again tonight.  Kanter is a solid low-risk play since he’s playing so many productive minutes for the Thunder and only costs 7K.
