Jimmy Fallon uses puppies to predict the 2015 Final Four winners

There will be a lot of talk between now and Saturday, but this is most likely the best way of picking who this year’s Final Four winners will be. There are some analysts out there that will tell you to look at the teams’ records, or their recent form, or certain players doing this or that, but I say forget all that nonsense, just use puppies.

Jimmy Fallon is clearly a man after my own heart, because he had the same idea. However, the puppies I used at home weren’t quite as cute and they all ran away rather than choosing a winning team.

The late night show host put out four bowls filled with dog food, each with one of the four remaining NCAA basketball teams’ names branded on the front. There were seven adorable dogs released from a puppy-friendly container, and the bowl with the most dogs would be the winning team.

It was a pretty close game, but Michigan State came out clear and deserving winners. That might bust a few of your brackets as Kentucky are favorites to win the competition, but you can’t argue with the science that went behind this method of picking the winning team.

Sadly I placed my bets before seeing the experiment, and if Fallon is telling the truth which I’m sure he is, I’m going to owe a lot of people a lot of money…
