Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James absolutely abused the entire Chicago Bulls‘ defense on his way to a massive dunk on Sunday afternoon NBA action.

More from Chicago Bulls

LeBron James has always been known for his flashy play, and he showed it off once again this afternoon against the Chicago Bulls. The Cleveland Cavaliers are in a tight race for the second seed in the Eastern Conference, and the Bulls came into the afternoon just three games behind Cleveland for that spot.

James is taking it upon himself to make some big plays this afternoon in order to lead his team to a win. Take a look at him abusing the entire Bulls’ defense on his way to a thunderous dunk.

Fans have come to expect that type of play from James, but it never fails to get old. Whenever he decides that he wants to make a play, he is more than capable of making that play. There is no single defender that can “stop” James, and there are very few that are able to even slow him down.

During the 2014-15 season so far in 65 games, James has averaged 25.6 points, 7.3 assists and 5.9 rebounds per game. He has shot 49.0 percent from the floor overall this season, and has nailed 35.4 percent from behind the three-point arc. Cleveland has had quite a bit of drama surrounding them this season, but James has been an impressive leader and strong presence for them.

At 30 years old, James is still playing the dominant brand of basketball that he played with in his first few years. He has become a much better playmaker for his teammates, but his game hasn’t changed too terribly much.

Cleveland appears to be a legitimate championship contender moving forward this season, but they will only go as far as James can take them. While he does have both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love beside him, he is still the best player by far on the team.

Expect to see James continue playing excellent basketball and making highlight plays for the rest of the season, and for the Cavaliers to contend to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals this year.
