Derrick Rose didn’t play particularly well during the first half of Monday night’s game, as he didn’t score once and was 0-of-7 from the field in the first two quarters against the Milwaukee Bucks.
However, Rose still had one of the half’s best plays. The Bulls point guard found teammate found Nikola Mirotic for an open layup with a sick jump pass pass late in the second quarter.
Take a look at the impressive play below:
"Rose hangs in the air and finds Mirotic for the layup to put @chicagobulls on top on @NBAonTNT! #NBARapidReplay http://t.co/bBap3A9Uzu— NBA (@NBA) April 21, 2015"
That was certainly a big play from Rose, as it put the Bulls in position to enter the halftime break with the lead.
Still, Chicago certainly needs more from Rose in the second half if they want to extend their series lead over the Bucks to 2-0. Rose was excellent in the first game of the series, scoring 23 points and posting seven assists in the 103-91 win.
Hopefully for Chicago’s sake, Rose’s nice pass was a sign of things to come for the second half.
