No One Wants To Draft A Liar

There is absolutely no doubt that people around the NFL are seriously doubting the maturity of one Jameis Winston.

Just read Winston’s explanation of the events at Publix:

"“A week before it was my buddy’s birthday and we had got a cake and we met a dude who was inside Publix and he said, ‘Hey, any time you come in here I got you.’ So that day we just walked out and he hooked us up with that and when I came in to get crab legs I did the same thing. He just gave them to me and I walked out. And someone from inside the store had told the security that I didn’t pay for them and that’s how the whole thing started.”"

It just seems like he prepared that story for days to tell to Harbaugh on ESPN. The whole thing just seems far-fetched.

If NFL owners, GMs and coaches weren’t questioning his maturity after the original incident, the profanity incident in front of a handful of students at the student union and the sexual abuse accusation — although he was found not guilty — they sure are now.

Listening to him recount his version of the story seemed so childish and even Jim Harbaugh gave him a look and basically told him to keep that story to himself and just admit that what he did was wrong.

Maturity issues have been raised and Winston’s No. 1 overall stock is holding on by a thread.
