1. Is Josh Hamilton over his issues?

Hamilton has sadly relapsed before, and what’s to prevent him from doing it again?

While, there were never any reported troubles during his time in Texas, Hamilton needs all the help he can get and returning to the baseball field at this time might be too soon.

When Hamilton was in Houston this off-season, he was away from the team and the baseball field. Perhaps, that’s what he needs more of?

Struggling with addiction issues isn’t easy for anyone, and especially a player like Hamilton that has faced demons his entire career.

When Angels manager Mike Scioscia met with Hamilton in Houston last week, Scioscia wasn’t sure that Hamilton was getting the help that he needed. Those are very concerning words to say the least.

If Hamilton hasn’t been getting the help that he needs away from the team, what’s to say he’s going to get the help that he needs as a member of the Rangers?

Now, there have been criticisms of the Angels organization during this process about whether or not the Angels have been helping Hamilton. Perhaps the Rangers, where Hamilton stayed out trouble can provide a comfort zone and safe haven that would allow Hamilton to overcome his issues and once again focus on baseball.

Still, the rehabilitation process is like nothing else, it can’t be rushed and it’s a strenuous process that the Rangers will have to endure along with their outfielder if they are going to get him to the next step and clean again.
