Who Needs To Be Scared Of San Antonio

Really, everyone needs to be deathly afraid of the Spurs.

San Antonio would match up against the Houston Rockets in the next round of the postseason, and that’s a series that could get ugly as well.  Houston has hubris to spare, and the Spurs have no time for young teams who think they’re better than they are.

The Spurs have been to the last two NBA Finals and are defending champions — that’s exactly the type of dominating team they looked like on Friday night.

No one looks like they can stop the Spurs, as they may be a team that has off-nights, but they’re not a team to sleep on. Everyone was doubting the Spurs after they lost one game in this series. They’ve since won two dominating outings against the Clippers — the last of which was so brutal that is was hard to watch and felt like a mid-November game.

Seriously, the Clippers had 49 points after three quarters.

It was ugly in the most devastating of ways and after Game 3, it looks like the rest of the NBA had better be on noticed or get out of San Antonio’s way.
