Isaiah Thomas tells Kevin Love to ‘stop crying’ over shoulder injury
By Josh Hill
The Cleveland Cavaliers eliminated the Boston Celtics on Sunday afternoon, and Isaiah Thomas isn’t in the mood to listen to Kevin Love complain about his shoulder.
When the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Boston Celtics in Game 4 on Sunday afternoon, they didn’t have Kevin Love on the floor thanks to a dislocated shoulder. That shoulder would come back into the forefront of our minds after the game, as Love attacked the Celtics for playing dirty and singled out Kelly Olynyk for injuring him on purpose.
Kevin Love is convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was injured on purpose in Game 4 by Olynyk and he’s telling that to anyone who will listen. Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas has listened to Love and isn’t really letting it get to him.

After the Celtics were eliminated in Game 4, Isaiah Thomas came forward to not so much defend Kelly Olynyk as to troll Kevin Love out of town.
"“We’re all men here. We don’t need to cry,” Thomas told reporters in Boston. “It is what it is. It’s playoff basketball.”"
The two might be teammates next season, so this could all come up again in a Jimmy Graham/Bruce Irvin type of situation — but we can cross that bridge if we get there.
Isaiah Thomas has a lot of his father in him, as neither of them really care what you think about them and they’re not afraid to speak their minds. Thomas has a point, in a way, that Love needs to be quiet for now about his shoulder.
It’s not like Olynyk ripped it out of it’s socket and started beating Love over the head with his own arm. Then again, the play is sketchy at best and Olynyk may be hearing from the NBA over what appears to be more than just a basketball play on Love.
