Diplo and M.I.A. start petty Twitter drama

Musicians Diplo and M.I.A found themselves trading petty tweets after a pair of interviews.
Recently M.I.A. spoke with Rolling Stone Magazine about her former relationship with musician and DJ, Diplo. In the interview she said Diplo was very controlling and manipulative. When asked about Diplo M.I.A. said, “I was with Diplo and he basically just like shat on every good thing that was happening to me, and I just didn’t enjoy it.”
Diplo certainly doesn’t sound like the romantic type.
Diplo responded with his own interview with Billboard where he said M.I.A. apologized to him about calling him out in her interview. Well this didn’t make M.I.A. too happy and she took to twitter to voice her displeasure.
Diplo then tweeted back at M.I.A. essentially calling her a liar.

This exchange is the definition of petty arguments. These are the kind of tweets a crappy high school couple tweet at each other when they have an argument before school about which My Chemical Romance album is best. Both sides think they’re right and neither budges, so they tweet dramatic angry tweets at each other during passing periods and make sure to ignore one another when they walk through the hall.
It’s the kind of drama that can only be resolved when both sides use up their parents’ cell phone data plan.
M.I.A. and Diplo are too old to be taking petty swings at their ex’s on Twitter. They should just meet up and hash things out rather than bog down our Twitter feeds with high school garbage.
