Danny Shelton will be wearing a homemade suit that his aunt put together when he gives Roger Goodell a hug tonight when the NFL draft takes place in Chicago. Shelton may end up staying in the windy city, as the Bears reportedly are interested in the nose tackle who has promised to NFL GM’s he will stop the run.

"“Two things I will do. I am going to stop the run, that is the main priority and then I am going to add to the pass rushing game.”"

Shelton grew up rooting for San Francisco. He has family on both the East and West Coast, but ideally would like to stay out west.

"“Honestly, I would like to be on the west coast that would be perfect just to be with my family. But, if I go to the east coast, I will be with my hispanic family. It’s a win win.”"

Shelton expects to go to either the Bears at seven or the Browns at 11. He will have a distinct look whenever his name his called wearing a formal Samoan to the draft, an ofukigo shirt and an iefaikaga wrap.

It has been a traumatic path for Shelton to make it to this day. Four year ago in 2011, he was involved in a tragic incident that led to the shooting death of his older brother Shennon during an altercation in Auburn. Shelton’s other older brother, Tui, survived a bullet that remains lodged in his lungs. Young Danny escaped unharmed only after the shooter’s gun jammed.
