4. James Winston-Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Winston offers the most fantasy upside of the rookie QB’s this season. Depending on how your league scores QB’s he could be higher or lower on this list, but even in standard single-QB leagues  I see him being fantasy relevant this season.

Winston should be the starter in Tampa from week 1 for Coach Lovie Smith, and Lovie has had success starting young QB’s in the past.  Winston joins an offense with some great weapons which is why I think he’ll have more success initially than Marcus Mariota. He made Kelvin Benjamin a top option in college, and he has a pair of similar receivers in Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson in Tampa this year. New offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter seems like a good fit for Winston, and I think he’ll end up having a good rookie campaign.

I see Winston in the top 20 making him own able in all leagues and startable in dual-QB leagues.  I doubt Winston finishes the season in the top ten, but he’s a solid QB2 with decent upside which definitely makes the top overall pick in this year’s NFL draft relevant to your fantasy draft.
