Chicago’s Injuries Will Creep Up On Them

Kevin Love is out, which naturally makes injuries a major part of this series from the get-go. But the Chicago Bulls seem to be a factory of injury sadness and this is the type of series where that could all creep up. Just look at the Washington Wizards, who had injuries to John Wall and Bradley Beal in the first game of their series against the Hawks.

Could you imagine if the Bulls suffered an injury to Jimmy Butler, Joakim Noah or Derrick Rose — all players who are prone to injury based on the last time they were hurt?

It’s hard to say an injury will play a factor in a series until it happens, and to be fair, right now the only injury that effects the series is attached to the Cavaliers. But the Bulls will not stay healthy the entire postseason, and as soon as the wheel start falling off, they will be exposed in a way they aren’t prepared to defend.

Bulls Response: It’s true. If Noah, Rose, or Butler get injured, the Bulls are pretty screwed. But there is no reason to think they won’t stay healthy this off season. Since they all three returned to the lineup before the playoffs started, the Bulls have been nearly unstoppable and they haven’t had any limit to the minutes they have been playing. The result? No injuries and four wins against the Bucks.
