NBA Playoffs 2015: 10 reasons Chicago Bulls will beat Cleveland Cavaliers
Bulls Have More Championship Hunger
Denying that the Bulls and LeBron James don’t have a rivalry is probably a little bit foolish. Whether he has been playing with the Heat or the Cavs, LeBron has been putting the Bulls in their place since he entered the NBA. In fact, three out of the last five seasons, LeBron has eliminated the Bulls from the playoffs effectively ending their season.
To spice things up a little more we all know how much Joakim Noah hates LeBron. His constant chatter aimed at the king don’t necessarily speak to how fond he is of LeBron. Not to mention this little gimmick as the LeBron’s teammates were getting frustrated with one another back in the 2013 playoffs.
Then Nazr Muhammad got into it with the King himself that same series which resulted in a little shoving match.
The Bulls have more than enough motivation going into this game. They have a hunger like no other. And everyone knows that when you mess with the Bulls, you get the horns. Okay, that was a little corny.
But in all seriousness, with Derrick Rose playing at a high level again, Kevin Love out for the series, and J.R. Smith missing the first couple of games the Bulls finally have the platform to satisfy their desire to knock LeBron out of the playoffs. The Bulls are hungry.
And it’s time to eat.
Cavaliers Response: Wrong, wrong wrong. We are all crying our eyes out that the Chicago Bulls have blown every chance they’ve had over the last four years to win a title, but no one is as hungry to win in the postseason than the Cavaliers. LeBron James has his legacy on the line, Cleveland hasn’t seen a champion in any sport for decades and it’s a city build on heartbreak. The river in Cleveland literally caught on fire once, that’s how bad things have been, and while the Bulls are a hungry team — everyone in the postseason hungry. Cleveland is starving and it’s time for the feast to continue.
