Clippers’ Austin Rivers steals James Hardens cooking move

An unlikely hero emerged for the Los Angeles Clippers yesterday. After his third year in the league Austin Rivers has been scrutinized as being a “bust” or receive too many minutes after being traded to his dad’s team. There was a whole host of Pelicans fans saying he won’t be missed, and that he was the Clippers problem now. Well, those who have defended Austin Rivers now have some hard evidence to silence more than a few critics

Austin Rivers had a really good game yesterday agains the Rockets with 25 points in and a 15 point explosion in the third quarter. Rivers went 10-13 in 23 minutes and had the whole Staples Center chanting AUS-TIN RIV-ERS.

After a deep fourth quarter three-pointer, Austin Rivers was feeling himself so much he decided to pull out James Harden signature move. Here it is:

I doubt this will be the end of Austin Rivers and the James Harden “cooking up” signature. They will be defending each other for the rest of the series. I’m sure after Harden drains a few threes he will have a few things to throw back at Rivers.

The next chance we will get to see Chef Harden and Chef Rivers square off at Kitchen Stadium, to see who will crowned Iron Chef, will be Sunday May 10th.
