Paul Pierce nails game winner vs Hawks in Game 3 at the buzzer (Video)
By Jack Crosby
Paul Pierce was out there on Saturday ruining the hopes and dreams of the Atlanta Hawks in Game 3
The Washington Wizards nearly had a monumental collapse on Saturday in Game 3 against the Atlanta Hawks, however the veteran Paul Pierce would not let that happen at all.
Washington was dominant for most of this one, however they let a 20-point lead slip away in the fourth quarter, of all times. With under 10 seconds to go in the game, Mike Muscala tied the game up for the Hawks with a nice three-pointer and it looked like we were going to overtime.
But, again, Paul Pierce, the trolling veteran that he is, was not gonna let that happen.
With time running down, The Truth banged in this nice fall away two to give the Wizards the 103-101 win and the 2-1 series lead.
Really, especially with John Wall out, is there anyone else that you would want with the ball in their hand other than Paul Pierce, who has been making memories like this for years now.
Afterwards, he was asked whether or not he called “bank,” and he was quick to give the best response he could possibly have, saying that he “called game.”
