Steph Curry signs a poster trolling the Memphis Grizzlies for not drafting him in 2009.

The Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies are squaring off in the second round of the NBA Playoffs. One Warriors fan found a particularly creative way to troll the Grizzlies.

The sign – labeled 2009 draft – shows Hasheem Thabeet under a No. 2 in Grizzlies colors. Then there is a picture of Steph Curry under a No. 7.
This of course is to illustrate that the Grizzlies passed up on Curry at No. 2 for Thabeet, and Curry would go on to win the 2015 NBA MVP award and lead his team to the best record in basketball.

Meanwhile Thabeet currently plays for the Grand Rapids Drive of the NBA Development League.

A great sign and troll, even though most might not get it right off the bat.

But you know who did get the joke? Curry.

He even took some time out of his day to autograph that sign so the fan who made it can hold on to it as a souveneir forever. He had to appreciate the acknowledgement of the draft slight and how it worked out so well for the Warriors.

I wonder if he could make his way to a D-League game to get Thabeet to sign it as well, that’d really complete the sign.
