Joakim Noah missed a pretty simple shot on the inside, but thankfully Taj Gibson was there to make everything alright

It’s been no secret do far in the series between the Bulls and Cavaliers that Joakim Noah has struggled to hit some shots in the paint. That trend continued in the third quarter of Game 4 on Sunday, but thankfully for him, Taj Gibson was there to have his back.

In the third, Noah had another pretty good look at the basket on the inside. However, instead of just floating it into the basket like most would have, the shot ricocheted hard off the glass. It was a pretty bad attempt.

But, right there to catch the ball off the glass was Taj Gibson, who threw down a violent dunk with authority.

My oh my, Taj Gibson, DON’T HURT ‘EM!

That was a beautiful play by Gibson and it showed tremendous awareness to make it to the ball after Noah missed the shot. Those are the kinds of plays that end up meaning the difference between wins and losses when all is said and done.

Also, Cavaliers defense…what are you doing?!? While that was an amazing play from Gibson, it was a little too easy.
