Duke. Tyus Jones. 13. player. 66. With Goran Dragic being shipped off to Miami, and most of the other guards the Phoenix Suns possess not really turning out to be all they hoped they would be, maybe it’s time to draft a legitimate back up to Eric Bledsoe.

The NCAA National champion, Tyus Jones could be their guy. His ability to score, pass and defend on the perimeter make him one of the most attractive prospects in the draft this year. We saw how effective Jones can be under pressure as well in the National Championship game against Wisconsin. When Jahlil Okafor got himself into foul trouble, Duke put Tyus Jones in a spot where he needed to carry his team or watch them take second place. Jones came up huge and was the main reason they won that game.

In the NBA, Jones would do the same thing for the Suns that he did for Duke and Coach K. Distribute the basketball, shoot when he’s open, and create opportunities for teammates. I see this as a match made in heaven with Tyus Jones going to Phoenix at no. 13 overall.
. PG
