Kristaps Porzingis. 8. player. 64. The one thing the Pistons don’t need is more guards. And with Willie Cauley-Stein, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Jahlil Okafor all taken, they might have to set their sights on an oversea’s prospect to fill their need under the basket. Kristaps Porzingis is the best post player left in the draft at this point, and there is no reason to think the 7’0 Latvian forward couldn’t be a solid NBA star.
He does have a potential downside. The most obvious of which is his size. For a seven footer, 220 pounds just isn’t going to cut it. The Pistons will definitely have their work cut out with Porzingis. But with the skill set he already possesses, there is no reason to think a little development couldn’t help him fill his potential in the NBA.

With Reggie Jackson and Brandon Jennings bringing the ball up, having a viable scoring option at the power forward position would be immensely helpful downt he stretch for Detroit.
.
