When is Madden 16 cover reveal?

NFL Madden fans’ wait to see what superstar is on the cover is nearly over as it’s being revealed on Sports Center this evening

Gaming fans have taken to social media to discuss who they think should be given the prestigious honor of featuring on the new cover of EA Sports’ NFL Madden. The finalists are Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and the Giants’ wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

There is a lot to be said for getting on the cover of Madden, and Gronk strikes me as the kind of guy who would love that sort of thing.However a lot of people think there’s a curse attached to the honor of being on the cover.

This strange superstition goes back to when Michael Vick was on the 2004 cover, only to miss the entire season through injury and as we all know, his luck didn’t get much better after that…

Peyton Hillis was on the cover of Madden 12 and has basically fallen off the face of the earth since.

Richard Sherman was on the cover last year and lost the Super Bowl in heartbreaking circumstances, so is this something players should be avoiding? If you ask me, no. Superstitions like this can be put on to everything in life and if I was an NFL star you can bet your bottom dollar that I would want my face on that cover!

Personally I think if you make a catch like this one, you deserve the cover.
