player. 46. . QB. Indianapolis Colts. Andrew Luck. 2

At some point, Andrew Luck is going to start overtaking the older folks on this list. While I am not sure that happens in 2015—especially with some offensive line questions—I do expect it to happen in 2016.

The Indianapolis Colts have put an awful lot of weapons around their quarterback and while I don’t know that a guy like Andre Johnson lasts more than a year, we do know others like T.Y. Hilton, Donte Moncrief and rookie Phillip Dorsett will be. Frank Gore is signed for several seasons as well and while people keep counting him out, he continues to play exceptionally well.

The team needs to figure out its’ offensive line issues but all the other offensive spots should be fine.

Luck himself is really just hitting his stride. While many of the other players on this list are in the middle or near the end of their career, Luck will just be entering his fifth career in the NFL. For him, the transition from college football to the pro game has been deceptively easy and as he continues to gain experience he should easily improve his game by leaps and bounds each year.

Luck has managed to carry this team for some time, especially considering how shaky the defense has been for most of his career so far. Hopefully the defense will have changed by then and taken some of the weight off Luck’s shoulders, but ultimately he’s going to be a huge part of the reason they win on any given Sunday.

I expect Luck to only get better between now and 2016.
