Sheamus wants to wrestle Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania

WWE star Sheamus has some pretty high hopes for his next opponent at WrestleMania
WWE superstar Sheamus did not compete at the recent WrestleMania 31 event, as the company had not brought him back to TV yet from his injury. So, with that being the case, you’d imagine that the Irish star would like to participate in a match with someone big at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas next year.
Well, he indeed does. Actually, he’s really reaching for the stars.
In a recent interview with Delaware Online, Sheamus was asked about who he would like to face on the biggest stage of them all, and well, he wants the Beast himself–Brock Lesnar.
"“Right now, it’s Brock Lesnar. I want Brock Lesnar. Simple as that. Brock Lesnar to me is a man who shows up now and again, and obviously considers himself the toughest man in WWE. And I consider myself THE toughest guy in WWE. I’ve been saying for a long time that I want a crack at Brock Lesnar. I wanted a crack at Undertaker before, but that streak is gone now and the opportunity is gone. I’m looking at today’s toughest streak. I want Brock Lesnar. And I want him at WrestleMania.”"
You can respect the man and his aspirations, but the likelihood of this happening in front of over 100,000 people next spring is not good. When Lesnar returns from his recent hiatus, he’s already been positioned to be the top babyface in the company, meaning that he’ll be right back in the World title picture.
Now Sheamus, on the other hand, at this point he more or less seems to be staying in the mid-card for probably the duration of his career. There might be a slim chance that he gets back to the main event picture, but those chances are very, very slim.
Now these two tangling at a non-WrestleMania event on one of Lesnar’s limited dates? OK, now there’s a possibility.
