It’s the end of an era, as the Mad Men series finale episode is set to air tonight on AMC and turn the lights out on one of the best shows of all-time.
For eight years, Mad Men has consistently been one of the best shows on television but all good things come to an end. The series is ending it’s run on AMC tonight with a finale episode that will hopefully tie together loose ends and tell us all what happened to Don Draper as his life either unravels or finally comes back together in the end.
We can all probably predict where Don’s life is going to go, as he smoked and drank most of his good years away and the prime years of his life are well behind him. What lies ahead is probably a very bad end for a marginally likable guy, as either cancer or some sort of liver failure is not far off in the future for Mr. Draper.
There’s the other characters to wonder about as well, as Mad Men was more than just Don Draper’s decent into his own personal Hell. It’s been a rough ride for everyone and while the characters started out bordering on depression to begin with, the series has only eroded their humanity even more.
