Serge Ibaka is ready for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson to come into the NBA and test his shot-blocking skills

Heading into the NBA Draft next month, one of the more highly-regarded players on the board is Arizona’s Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, who has provided us with some nice highlight reel dunks once or twice in his college career. Recently, he said he wanted to test his skills against one of the best shot blockers in the NBA, Oklahoma City’s Serge Ibaka.

Well, Ibaka had a response.

In a recent interview leading up to the draft in June, Hollis-Jefferson specifically stated the following:

"“I don’t know if I should say this, because he might be, like, looking for me if I come down the paint,” Hollis-Jefferson said. “But I know Serge Ibaka is a big blocked-shot dude. So if I can get him, I’m good.”"

Oh, don’t you worry, young man…Mr. Ibaka will be looking and he wants you to know about it.

It was all in good fun, especially with Ibaka wishing him good luck in the draft. But you know that when these two do get together on the court next season, Ibaka would love for nothing more than for the young star to come his way.

You know what they say: If you come at the king, you best not miss.
