Warriors point guard Stephen Curry boxed out the much taller Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard in Game 3 Saturday.

Stephen Curry is a point guard who is 6’3″ and is known for making big threes and dishing out assists. Dwight Howard is a center who is 6’11” and is known for big dunks and rebounds.

Well with nothing going right for Houston early on in Game 3, Howard was getting boxed out by his much smaller counterpart.

Not only did Curry embarrass the much taller Howard by boxing him out, he out-jumped him and grabbed the rebound too.

Sometimes Dwight Howard gets criticized for not being aggressive enough at the hoop.

This is one of those plays that probably warrants the criticism he will receive. When you’re twice the size of someone that isn’t known for rebounding, you have to be the aggressor and force your way into the rebound.

Unfortunately for Howard, Curry wanted the ball a lot more than he did, and he ended up getting caught flat footed and not giving much of an effort of on the play.

Any self-respecting big man should never allow a point guard to out-jump them for a rebound. Especially, an All-Star center in Dwight Howard.

Come on, Dwight. You’re better than that.
