Becoming a human sticker board, a small hazard of bringing your young child to a game.

When you are taking your small child to a ballgame, no matter if it’s his or her first or fortieth, there are certain things you need to take into consideration.

For instance, the thrill of the being at an MLB game pales in comparison to the distractions at the park. The mascot is good for a reaction, but that reaction isn’t always cheerful.

You can virtually guarantee yourself an extra trip to the potty and to the concession stand. You can also bet that if the home team is losing, your child will find a method to make you the distraction they need in order to stay amused.

This brave New York Mets fan brought his little girl to the second game of the Metropolitans’ series against the rival Miami Marlins. The game featured not one but two Giancarlo Stanton homers, which put the Marlins up 9-5 going into the bottom of the 9th. The following is the epitome of being a good dad.

At one point you can clearly see him look over at whom I’m assuming is the little girl’s mom pleading for help with his eyes.

As a Mets fan you can be sure his eyes dropped to the floor when he saw Stanton’s third inning homer barely clear the 380 sign on the wall. You can probably blame Stanton’s 9th inning 455 foot homer as the reason this dad became a human sticker board.

Let’s take another look at Stanton’s ridiculous moonshot (since we have the technology).
