71. Kershaw looked much more like his Cy Young self in his last outing allowing just four hits in seven shutout innings while striking out ten. It was his best start of the season and the first in which he didn’t allow a run.  He faces the Rockies tonight for the third time this season.  He’s 2-0 against them despite a 4.42 ERA, and I expect more of the same tonight.  I’d be surprised if Kershaw doesn’t get the win, but I do expect him to give up some runs in Coors Field which keeps him from climbing higher on this list today.. Gerritt Cole. 3. player. 4. Cole and the Pirates stay on the West Coast and take on the Giants to start the week.  Cole has been excellent over his last four starts allowing a total of six runs in 28.1 innings while piling up 31 strikeouts. The Giants lineup isn’t an ultra-power-packed one, so look for Cole to continue his strong start to the season coming into tonight’s action with a 7-2 record and a 2.11 ERA.. 90. Zimmermann and the Nats welcome in the Blue Jays for this week’s interleague series. Zimmermann has been solid this season especially at home where he is 2-1 with a 2.51 ERA, especially at night when he is 4-0 with a 1.96 ERA, and especially recently coming off an impressive 2-0 May with a 1.91 ERA.  With all those splits in his favor tonight, I expect a good game from Zimmermann against the Jays.. Hernandez has been outstanding for Seattle this season only allowing three runs or more two times in his first ten starts.  He dominated Tampa Bay in his last outing turning in a complete-game shutout while allowing four hits and striking out eight. With that outing, he lowered his ERA to 1.91 and improved to 8-1 on the season.  Tonight at home against the Yankees, he’s an elite option once again for fantasy baseball owners..
