player. 100.
The Robin to Karl-Anthony Towns’ Batman at Kentucky, Willie Cauley-Stein won’t be a side-kick once he develops into the player he is capable of becoming. Cauley-Stein has so many unique attributes that will be useful to an NBA team that it is difficult dropping him this low in the draft. But because Towns out-shined him so much at Kentucky and the draft has so many good big men to begin with, he might drop lower than he normally would have.

That’s good news for the Pacers though. Indiana is returning Paul George from injury and it looks like they are setting themselves up to go deep in the Eastern Conference this up coming year. Drafting Cauley-Stein will give them an immediate impact player who knows how to play late in the post season.

Playing behind Roy Hibbert and David West, Cauley-Stein will have to pay his dues. But over time we will see him emerge as a functional big man in the NBA who can do a plethora of things under the rim that are going to be quite useful for the Pacers.
. PF/C. Kentucky. Willie Cauley-Stein. 11
