7. player. 73.
Justise Winslow proved to everybody that he is going to be a solid NBA player by his performance in the NCAA Tournament. It was the talent of Winslow, along with Tyus Jones and Okafor, that allowed Duke to have such a successful tournament. More than that, his skill set and size will translate well to the NBA. Of course, there will be an adjustment period, but there is no reason to think he can’t be the next young All-Star in the league.

The Nuggets need a guy you can defend on the perimeter too. Winslow has shown that his large frame and height don’t compromise his speed and footwork. Even though he is huge, no one should take him lightly on the defensive end. He will be an immediate impact player for the Nuggets on the defensive side of the ball.

On the offensive end, he will need to work on a couple of things. Developing a better jump shot that is both released quicker and more efficient will be the deciding factor in whether or not his coach will be able to trust him as a scorer. In college, he was a decent shooter, but at the next level the three point line jumps back and the pace up play picks up. With a little coaching and hard work there is no reason to think he won’t make this transition.
. SF. Duke. Justice Winslow
