3. Will Venable-OF-San Diego Padres: The Padres outfield must have a secret about Reds’ ace Johnny Cueto since they seem to be dialed in against him. Kemp’s teammate Will Venable is 7-15 (.467) against Cueto with a pair of home runs and five RBI.

2. Martin Prado-3B-Miami Marlins: If you need a value play on the infield, check out Prado who is 10-26 (.385) with a home run and four RBI against Rockies starter Kyle Kendrick.  He doesn’t offer the thump of the Padres around him on this list, but he can definitely contribute especially if this afternoon’s game at Coors turns into a high-scoring affair.

1. Prince Fielder-1B-Texas Rangers: The Rangers 1B is our top option today as he takes on the Royals’ Jeremy Guthrie.  The suddenly resurgent Rangers go for the sweep of the reigning AL Champs today, and Fielder should be ready to contribute. In his career, Fielder is a very impressive 12-24 (.500) against Guthrie with three doubles, a home run, and five RBI.
