Goldberg returns to the wrestling ring, spears Scott Steiner (Video)

Bill Goldberg hit the wrestling ring again on Sunday and he perfectly nailed his signature spear
It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen one of the biggest professional wrestling stars of the 90’s, Bill Goldberg, step into a ring and nail someone with the move that he really made famous, the spear. There are people out there that have been clamoring to see it once again, and on Sunday afternoon, those people got their wish.
There was a Legends of Wrestling event that was held inside Citi Field on Sunday, and the main event featured an old nemesis of Goldberg, Scott Steiner, taking on Rob Van Dam. Well, in his typical heel fashion, Steiner was getting out of hand with his antics and this prompted Goldberg to come down to the ring and make things right.
Of course, with Goldberg, there was no other way to make this right than to put Steiner on his back with a vicious spear that had the crowd in attendance roaring.
That was a pretty cool moment, especially considering that we haven’t seen it in so long.
Throughout the years recently, Goldberg has discussed his desire to return to the ring, if only for one match. His reasoning is that his children never got the chance to see him wrestle, and now that they’re old enough, he’d like to give him that opportunity.
But for those people that hope it will come in a WWE ring, don’t hold your breath. The former WCW World Champion has recently revealed that talks with the company about a potential return keep falling through.
We do have this, though, for now.
