What will Derrick Rose be like with a full off season of training?

We all know just how sad and disappointing Derrick Rose’s career has been the past four seasons. Injury after injury hasn’t really given him a chance to truly work on his game since first tearing his ACL way back in 2012. While LeBron James and Kevin Durant are working on their craft in the offseason, Rose has to rehab and stretch out his knees to make sure they are good to go for the season.

With Rose’s injuries seemingly behind him (knock on wood), Bulls fans are all wondering just how good the former MVP can really be with a full off season of work outs under his belt. After all, the last time Derrick Rose didn’t rehab anything in the summer time he led the Bulls to the Eastern Conference Finals and won the MVP that year. Not sure if there is a correlation there, but it certainly won’t hurt for D-Rose to get some actual game reps in this summer.

Another cool part about this is that Derrick probably has a huge fire in his belly after the brutal loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference semi-finals. If there is one thing people know about Derrick Rose is that he doesn’t take too kindly to losing. So maybe this is the kick in the butt he needs to be the player he can be next season with a full summer of off season work outs.
