Can Butler and Rose coexist as superstars?

Jimmy Butler has emerged as one of the best players in the  NBA this season following a number of Derrick Rose injuries. It seems the Marquette graduate finally figured out how to be a huge factor on the offensive end, which has led to some pretty amazing success as an all-around star for the Chicago Bulls.

The problem was, the Bulls already had a super star in Derrick Rose. He was just on the IR for a time, but his return was imminent. With the minimal time we saw between the two, it was evident that they couldn’t really figure out how to play next to one another. It wasn’t that their play styles clashed. It was more of just a time issue.

The more often these two get reps next to one another the more likely it is that they will be successful. But for now, it remains as a huge what if in the minds of Chicago Bulls fans if the two can form a dynamic duo and be a force to reckoned with in the Eastern Conference.
