10 questions every Chicago Bulls fan wants answered this offseason
Who will the Bulls draft?
If there is one highlight of the offseason for all those teams out there who didn’t win a title, it’s the NBA draft. This year, there are plenty of solid prospects who can get the job done at most every position. But with any draft there is always a possibility of drafting a bust. For the Bulls, it’s all about getting the most talented player at the most appropriate fit.
With all the question marks surrounding Derrick Rose, drafting a point guard could be the best option. Jerian Grant may fall as low as no. 22 in this year’s draft. As well as Tyus Jones, a recent college basketball champion. Even though neither of these guy are going to be the immediate replacement for Derrick Rose, they could serve as a solid back up. Especially if Aaron Brooks decides not to resign as Rose’s back up.
If the Bulls decide to go with someone who can help them out in their front court, it could prove to be beneficial as well. Taj Gibson might not be a Chicago Bull no longer, and with the uncertainty surrounding the future of Joakim Noah and Pau Gasol in the NBA, drafting a big guy who can score and defend might not be the worst idea in the world.
