The run that Chris Sale is currently on has been phenomenal to say the least. In his last four starts, Sale has thrown 30.2 innings, surrendered just 17 hits and just four earned runs. In the process, he’s also struck out 10 or more batters in each outing, 49 total. The White Sox seem to be riding that wave a bit, winning each of his last three starts and seven of his last ten.. . . Previous: . Cincinnati Reds. 24. team. 61. Joey Votto gets a lot of praise for his contributions to the Reds, but Todd Frazier is seemingly the quite guy that flies under the radar. The Reds third baseman is hitting a cool .293 with 17 home runs and 37 RBI on the season, but has been huge over the last week, slashing .433/.433/.700 over his last seven games.

14. The Red Sox offense is getting a lock of flack for scuffling, but the middle of the diamond seems to be doing just fine. The pair of Dustin Pedroia and Xander Bogaerts are hitting a combined .426 in June. The issues lie in the middle of the order, where the trio of David Ortiz, Pablo Sandoval, and Mike Napoli are just being over-matched night in and night out.. . Previous: +2nd. Seattle Mariners. 22. team. 62. The Mariners offense has struggled enough in 2015 but it appears their luck isn’t getting any better. Nelson Cruz, who leads the American League in home runs, is dealing with back spasms and has missed two straight games. If there was a time for Robinson Cano to get it together, now would be it.. . Last week I challenged Adam Jones to find his home runs swing and he answered that challenge by going yard three times since, tacking on a double and a triple for good measure. He’ll have a bit more support in the line-up as well, with catcher Matt Wieters back and collecting six hits in his first 16 at-bats..
