MLB: Major League Baseball uniform power rankings
- Home Cap: 24th
- Home Jersey: 29th
- Road Cap: 23rd
- Road Jersey: 17th
The Good: As you can tell from the rankings so far, I’m a traditionalist and I don’t think very highly of modern uniform concepts compared to the games more classic looks. However, I do believe that the Arizona Diamondbacks have done a really good job of developing a modern logo and word mark that looks great on a baseball uniform. I don’t even mind the interchangeable use of two main logos, the A and the D.
While the very ‘90s color combination of teal and purple produced some ugly uniforms in the franchise’s early days, the move to Sedona red black works much better in Arizona than it did in Houston.
The Bad: While the D-Backs wear alternate jerseys more than I prefer (through June 9, 2015 the team has worn their red tops 15 times and their black alternate on four occasions – a total of 19 alternate jerseys in 44 games), both alternates rank among the best in baseball in my opinion.
Next: 23. Tampa Bay Rays
