Top father/son duo in each of the ‘Big 4’ American sports
Bobby Hull/Brett Hull
Bobby and Brett Hull are perhaps the greatest father/son duo in any sport, let alone the “Big 4.” In fact, it could be argued that Brett’s illustrious career doesn’t gain all of the accolades it should solely because of his father’s enormous shadow, as well as the high expectations placed on him when coming into the league.
Let’s hit the numbers.
Bobby
- Art Ross Trophy for most points in regular season (3x)
- Hart Trophy for regular season MVP (2x)
- Lang Byng Memorial Trophy for sportsmanship (1x)
- Lester Patrick Trophy for outstanding service to USA hockey (1x)
- Stanley Cup Champion – 1961 Chicago Blackhawks
- Second-leading goal-scorer in history upon retirement
