FanDuel fantasy baseball tips: Top 10 batter vs pitcher matchups-6/22
3. J.D. Martinez-OF-Detroit Tigers: Normally owning a player the day after a monster day isn’t a great strategy, but Martinez has the batter vs pitcher numbers to make him a good play again tonight as the Tigers head to Cleveland. The Indians will start Trevor Bauer against the Tigers tonight which sets up well for Martinez who is 5-11 (.455) with a home run and 2 RBI against Bauer in his career.

2. Joe Mauer-1B-Minnesota Twins: The third member of the Twins to make our list is their best hitter, Joe Mauer. Mauer is an impressive 23-60 (.383) with three doubles and nine RBI against John Danks in his career. His long track record of success in this matchup makes him a nice play tonight as the Twins try to continue their run of success at home.
1. Dexter Fowler-OF-Chicago Cubs: The top option for today is a bit of a surprising one since Fowler and the Cubs take on Clayton Kershaw. However, Fowler has been successful against Kershaw in the past going 16-38 (.421) with two doubles, a triple, and an RBI against the Dodgers’ Ace in their past meetings (mostly when Fowler was with the Rockies). See how much Fowler costs you for tonight, but don’t be scared off by this seemingly bad matchup since the batter vs pitcher numbers indicate Fowler could be one of the best sleeper plays of the night.
