WWE fans, in particular fans of Dolph Ziggler, have been worrying a lot lately with the rumors that he might be leaving the company soon when his current contract expires this fall. Well, you can now put all those worries to be, because he’s sticking around.

According to a report from PWInsider, Ziggler in fact signed a new multi-year deal with the company a few weeks ago, effectively putting the stops to him going anywhere other than the biggest wrestling company on the planet.

While this is a happy event for most wrestling fans, now the question turns to whether or not WWE will finally give him the push that many feel he’s rightfully deserved for quite some time. Consistently treated like he doesn’t matter, no one really would have blamed Ziggler if he took off and went to make some money on the independents, where he would at least be treated like a top star.

But for someone that has been with the company for so long and knows better, you would have to believe that he was promised some sort of push down the road. Had Ziggler went and worked the indies, he would have made a ton of money with all the perks that the promoters offer. So something specific had to lead with him deciding to stick around with WWE.

Ziggler is currently in one of the higher profile stories at the moment on WWE TV, with Lana by his side and Rusev placing the target on his back. However, this isn’t the type of push that people are looking for. What people are looking for is Dolph Ziggler one day holding up the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Will it happen now under the parameters of this new multi-year deal?
