LeBron Becomes De Facto GM and Head Coach

This is already probably going on, but LeBron James needs to be given the NBA equivalent of a Hollywood director having ‘final cut’ over his project. LeBron is the Scorsese of basketball, you don’t tell him what to do and you tread lightly when trying to give an icon any critical input.

LeBron is the smartest player in basketball, and he’s always going to have the highest IQ in the room. He knows that, David Blatt knows that and everyone in the Cavs organization knows that. More importantly, everyone in the world knows that LeBron is running things in Cleveland, and he needs to know that power won’t be touched.

Everything that happens needs to go through LeBron, from offseason moves to plays in the huddle. He’s the leader of the team and everything falls on him no matter what. He needs the power of knowing he won’t be overruled, as he’s not one to abuse power but can’t be anywhere else on the totem pole expect at the very top.
