3. Ryan Goins-SS-Toronto Blue Jays: The Blue Jays offense has been firing on all cylinders, and they’ll take on a familiar foe tonight as the Red Sox and starter Clay Buchholz come to town.  Goins is a big-time sleeper pick if he gets the start tonight since he has crushed Buchholz in his career going 9-19 (.474) with a double, triple, and six RBI.

2. David Ortiz-DH-Boston Red Sox: Back on the Red Sox side of tonight’s matchup, Big Papi is worth a look after connecting on his 12th homer of the season on Sunday.  He comes into tonight’s game against Dickey with a 9-25 (.360) career mark including a pair of doubles, eight RBI, and three home runs. Playing anyone against a knuckle-baller is a roll of the dice, but Ortiz obviously has had his success against Dickey in the past.

1. Russell Martin-C-Toronto Blue Jays: Perenial Red Sox killer Russell Martin is also a good play tonight against Buchholz. Martin has gone 6-19 (.316) in his career against Buchholz with four home runs and seven RBI. As long as he gets the start tonight, he’s one of the best backstops on the market.
