Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins swung from the heels in free agency and landed the biggest fish of them all with defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. Suh comes over after five glorious seasons with the Detroit Lions, capped by a 2014 where he made 53 tackles and notched 8.5 sacks. According to Pro Football Focus, Suh led all 4-3 defensive tackles and 3-4 nose tackles with 37 quarterback hurries and 12 hits.

With the acquisition of Suh, Miami can now pose a front that flanks him with Olivier Vernon and Cameron Wake. In a division filled with top-tier defensive fronts, the Dolphins are not taking a back seat, boosting one of the best three players in the game on his side of the ball.

Honorable mention: Cameron Wake, Brent Grimes

New York Jets

Darrelle Revis might have a hard time figuring out which team he wants to play for, but he has no issues locking down the receiver across from him. Revis is back with the Jets after spending one year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and then winning a Super Bowl last season with the New England Patriots.

Revis, who turns 30 years old next week, remains one of the top corners in the game and will likely end up in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Jets have revamped their secondary this offseason with the signings of Revis, Antonio Cromartie and Buster Skrine, but there remains no doubt who the leader of the defense is.
