Tuesday night we were treated to one of the best events of the summer as the 2015 MLB All-Star Game took place. With the midway point of the season here now, it was time to put the best of the best on the field and find out which league would have home field advantage for the World Series in October.
This year’s MLB All-Star Game took place inside the Great American Ballpark, home of the Cincinnati Reds. One of the better ballparks in all of Major League Baseball did a fantastic job of hosting the annual event, which isn’t all that surprising given the amazing venue.
Before the game even got underway on Tuesday night we saw some of the best pregame festivities that we have ever witnessed. They announced the best four players from every single MLB team, and they then followed that up with announcing the four greatest living players. Of course, with this, we also saw Pete Rose take the field as well, as he tries to ease his way back into the good graces of Major League Baseball.
As for the game itself, it was the American League that came away with a 6-3 win to earn that home field advantage in the World Series. Now, here’s a look at the highlights from the 2015 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday night.
