Drake actually sent champagne to Charlamagne Tha God as he rapped about in his “Back To Back” Meek Mill diss.

The internet is on fire after Drake dropped his second Meek Mill diss track titled “Back To Back.” The trolling on this diss track is next level and he used Toronto Blue Jays legend Joe Carter celebrating a walk-off home run that lifted the Jays over the Philadelphia Phillies the 1993 World Series.

That isn’t where the trolling ended. Aside from the numerous shots at Meek Mill, including using his girlfriend Nicki Minaj to put him down, he also throws out this lyric:

“I wanna see my n–gas go insane / You gon’ make me step out of my f-ckin’ frame
You gon’ make me buy bottles for Charlamagne/ You gon’ make me go out of my f-ckin’ way”

He actually did it. Drake actually sent champagne to Charlamagne Tha God.

Not just one bottle, six bottles of Dom Perignon.

It also included a note that said “let’s be friends” signed by his real name, Aubrey Graham.

For those who don’t know, Charlamagne Tha God is a personality in the hip hop world and works as a morning host on Power 106 in New York amongst other projects like Guy Code on MTV. He is possibly best known for his “Donkey of the Day” award.

Hot 97 is the rival to Power 106 on the New York City airwaves, and Hot 97 DJ Funkmaster Flex has seemingly sided with Meek Mill and was supposed to play his diss track, but it never happened. So in essence, Drake is lining up with the other side since Hot 97 seems to be against him.

After Funkmaster Flex failed to play Meek Mill’s diss record, Charlamagne Tha God awarded him the Donkey of the Day.

Drake and Charlamagne weren’t always so close, but given Charlamagne’s position as a sworn enemy of Hot 97, his Donkey of the Day award for Funk Flex, it looks like the two are now allies in an “enemy of my enemy is my friend” kind of way.

It isn’t Hot 97’s first run in with Young Money.
