The Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays are “poised to have an all-out bidding war” over David Price.

There are some big name pitchers on Major League Baseball’s trading block, like Philadelphia Phillies ace Cole Hamels and Detroit Tigers’ David Price. In regards to Price, USA Today’s Bob Nightengale reports that the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays are “poised to have an all-out bidding war” over the left-hander.

The Los Angeles Dodgers were considered front-runners for Hamels just days ago but the Texas Rangers have emerged as the front-runners. The Dodgers however still have eyes on landing a big fish.

Adding either Hamels or Price to a line up anchored by Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke would create a formidable line up for a run at the playoffs and October baseball.

The Dodgers might need to focus their efforts on Greinke if the reports surrounding Hamels and the Rangers are true.
