Amazon crashes temporarily, people can’t buy things (Photo)

Amazon is the most common way we buy things online, but what do we do when it crashes and we can’t shop?

When we need to go to the store, we typically check the store hours and make a trip to get what we need. But in the digital age of online shopping, all we need to do is point and click to get what we want. Those who have Amazon Prime, all you need to do is buy something and wait two days and it’s delivered to your door.

Heck, Amazon stepped their game up and has two-hour deliver in major cities which cuts the time you have to wait to basically nothing. Instead of going to the store, all we need to do is get on the internet and our groceries will be at our door a few hours later.

But what happens when The Matrix of online shopping crashes?

That’s what happened on Monday night. If you were trying to buy something on Amazon, you likely ran into this message:

Mozilla Firefox 2015-08-10 20-59-25
Mozilla Firefox 2015-08-10 20-59-25 /

This is basically what the end of the world feels like.

Louis C.K. does a great stand up routine about how the things we take for granted yet are epic technical feats tend to make us mad when they don’t work. If the internet crashes for even a few minutes, we lose our minds and demand someone be held responsible.

Ditto with the people freaking out over Amazon cart crashing. Not everyone is experiencing this problem, but t’s a widespread issue that is causing hysteria on the internet like we didn’t think we’d have to handle.
